About us

About FGV EAESP:

The Business Administration School of São Paulo at the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV EAESP) was created in 1954, from joint efforts between the government and business community in Brazil, and with the cooperation of Michigan State University. The School was created with the objective of educating people to face the challenges that emerged from a moment of change, which Brazil was going through. Since then, FGV EAESP has trained generations of business and public management leaders. We are made up of more than 3,000 students, 260 professors, over 100 employees and thousands of alumni. FGV EAESP is a school that integrates business practice and is at the frontier of research in Brazil and worldwide.

FGV EAESP is one of the few Business Schools worldwide which is accredited by the three main accreditors of business schools – AACSB, EFMD and AMBA. In Brazil, FGV EAESP is the sole institution with recognized quality by these three accreditors, the single school to possess the triple-crown accreditation.
The accreditation is a volunteered, non-governmental and continuous process of quality evaluation of educational institutions and its programs, performed by a specialized organization, by explicit criteria and based on best management practices and quality of business schools.
